Thomas, I'm sure that your writings will be of help to many. It is always helpful to me to learn how you perceive situations, and I use these experiences to share with parents possibilities of what may be going on with their child in certain situations. Keep writing and sharing!

I also want you to know, that even without autism, I can relate to your comments related to "latching onto" others at conferences. If I am alone at a conference, I tend to hide out in my room between sessions, feeling very lonely. It is much easier to have someone, especially someone confident or just someone who knows other people, to "take you under their wing."
